This Privacy Policy describes how Outergy Group, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our macOS clipboard manager application, Stash ("the App").

When you use the App, we automatically collect:

- Crash and error data: Crash reports, error logs, stack traces, system state at time of crash, and diagnostic information
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, hardware specifications, unique device identifiers, and App version
- Clipboard metadata: Information about clipboard operations (e.g., number of items, types of content, timestamps) — we do not transmit the actual content of your clipboard unless required for a specific feature you explicitly use
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from analytics providers, crash reporting services, and other third-party tools integrated into the App.
1.4 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or transmit:
- The actual content of your clipboard (text, images, or files)
- The content of your bookmarks or screenshots
- Any User Content stored locally by the App
These remain on your device unless you explicitly use a feature that requires transmission.

Personal information associated with support requests is retained for up to 3 years after your last interaction. Usage data, crash reports, and analytics may be retained indefinitely in anonymized or aggregated form for product improvement and research purposes.

7. Local Data Storage
The App stores your clipboard history, bookmarks, and images locally on your device in:
~/Library/Application Support/Stash/
This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you use a feature that requires it. You can delete this data at any time through the App's settings or by removing the folder.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for international transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA)
If you are a Texas resident, you have the following rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), effective July 1, 2024:
